The Student Success Center Math Lab offers free help in math, physics and statistic courses to UT Dallas students currently enrolled in classes. We are open Monday - Thursday 10am-8pm and Friday - Saturday 10am-4pm. Students can:

The Math Lab serves as a student-centered resource for the UT Dallas community. We offer one-on-one tutoring at no charge. We offer an extensive array of one-to-one and small group tutoring. Whether you are striving to turn a B into an A or needing to refresh your math skills, the Student Success Center Math Lab can help with most undergraduate math courses from pre-algebra through differential equations - essentially the 1000 and 2000 level courses which include but are not limited to the courses listed below. Occasional help with Mathematical Analysis, Abstract Algebra, Complex Variables, Engineering Math, and Statistics is also available by appointment. Call 972.883.6707 or 6737 for more information.

The UT Dallas Math Lab is located in Student Success Center CN 1.304. The Math Lab provides free walk-in tutoring for students enrolled in any of the following courses:

How do I make an appointment?

It is always best to arrange for a session in advance because students who have scheduled consultations have priority over those who drop in for an appointment.

How much time should I allot?

Tutoring sessions typically last 45 minutes and are limited to one per week per student.

What if I need to cancel my appointment or arrive late?

Students will be considered "no-shows" if they fail to notify the Math Lab at least an hour before their scheduled consultation. No-shows may not make another appointment during the same week in which they fail to show up. Students who do not show up within fifteen minutes of their scheduled appointment time forfeit their appointment to a walk-in or wait-listed student.
