The Student Success Center - Welcome to the PC Lab

The Student Success Center PC Lab, centrally located in the Alexander Clark Center (formerly the Conference Center) (CN 1.206), has 45-seat proctored PC lab, supporting science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) learning through technology. We are open six days a week.

The Student Success Center PC Lab is a proctored, secure environment supporting a limited array of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) courses. All students entering for any reason are required to present a valid UT Dallas Comet Card prior to admittance, and personal technology (e.g. cell phones, MP3 players, pagers, other wireless devices, etc.) are strictly prohibited.

In addition, no food, beverages, water bottles and/or other beverage containers are permitted. Spilled beverages create a potential safety hazard due to the numerous electrical connections and computers. Spilled beverages and food particles also shorten the life of computer equipment, furniture and carpeting, and attract ants and other pests, all of which increase maintenance costs which we would rather put toward The Student Success Center student success initiatives. Fortunately, the Alexander Clark Center (formerly known as the Conference Center) lobby and adjacent outdoor spaces provide excellent areas in which to take a break from The Student Success Center PC Lab activities.

Consult with a The Student Success Center Desk worker for additional information, and check out our Math online resources and Science online resources as well.

Who can use the Student Success Center PC Lab?
