The College Readiness Initiative (CRI) gives rising high school sophomores the support they need to succeed in high school so they can pursue a college education. CRI prepares high school students for college by bringing them to the UT Dallas campus, where they spend two weeks each summer. The students take educational workshops and get a taste of university life. Most participants in the CRI program hope to be the first members of their families to attend college.
The program has been privately funded for the past three years. Students are selected to participate in the program. If you’re interested in additional information about CRI, please contact Dr. George Fair, dean of the School of Interdisciplinary Studies, at email@example.com.
