The master of science in cell and molecular biology degree program begins with core courses in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology and quantitative biology. As a master’s student, you will have the opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research in a laboratory of your choosing. Application Requirements

Degree requirements: A background in calculus, general physics, organic chemistry, biochemistry and general biology, including genetics, is preferred.

Test score required: Yes

GRE scores of at least 147 verbal and 295 combined are preferred.

Letters of recommendation: Required

Applicants must submit three letters of recommendation from individuals who can judge the candidate’s probability of success in graduate school. Use the completed Request for Recommendation form. Letters of recommendation may be sent directly to the program.
