Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Engineering


The graduate programs in computer science offer intensive preparation in design, programming, theory and applications. Application Requirements

Degree requirements: A master's degree in computer engineering or a closely associated discipline such as electrical engineering or computer science is preferred.

GPA: Minimum GPA in graduate-level coursework of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale

Test score required: Yes

GRE revised scores of 154, 156, and 4 for the verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing components, respectively, are advisable. 

Letters of recommendation: 3

Applicants must submit three letters of recommendation from individuals who can judge the candidate’s probability of success in graduate school. Use the completed Request for Recommendation form. Letters of recommendation may be sent directly to the program.
