Doctor of Philosophy in Public Policy and Political Economy

Our nationally recognized the PhD in public policy and political degree program offers training opportunities from internationally renowned faculty. The mission of the program is to prepare students through instruction in social sciences and public policy concepts, advanced methodological knowledge, applied social research techniques and professional communication skills.

Application Requirements

Degree requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

GPA: Minimum of 3.2 

Test score required: Yes

Verbal score of 160 and quantitative score of 148 on the GRE or equivalent score on the GMAT 

Letters of recommendation: 3

Applicants must submit three letters of recommendation from individuals who can judge the candidate’s probability of success in graduate school. Use the completed Request for Recommendation form. Letters of recommendation may be sent directly to the program.

Admissions essay required: Yes
