UT Dallas welcomes students from around the world to study in 86 master's and doctoral degree programs. More than 3,500 diverse international students from more than 90 countries attend UT Dallas.

Applying for Admission

The UT Dallas Office of Admission and Enrollment Services requires the following materials for admission consideration. Only complete applications received by the deadline dates listed below will be guaranteed an admissions decision. Departments will not process incomplete applications. There is no guarantee that your application will be reviewed if is not complete by the deadline.

All fees are non-refundable. Payment must be in U.S. dollars. You may use a non-U.S. bank check, but it must have the routing number permanently printed on the bottom. You may mail a money order, a check drawn on a U.S. bank to the address above, or pay online before you submit your application.

Please submit all official/attested documents in a sealed envelope with the institutional stamp on the outside of the envelope. See Graduate Academic Requirements later in this document for detailed information on credential requirements.

Application and Document Deadlines

  Fall Semester Spring Semester Summer Semester
F-1, J-1 visa holders May 1 September 1 March 1
All other visa holders July 1 November 1 April 1

Although International applicants with visa types other than F1 or J1 visas may adhere to the domestic application deadlines and dates as shown above, they will still be assessed late fees according to the F1 and J1 international deadline dates.
