Confucius Institute
The relationship between China and the United States is of the utmost importance, not only for the two nations but also for the entire world. The University of Texas at Dallas and Southeast University in China have formed a partnership for the Confucius Institute at The University of Texas at Dallas. Its purpose is to increase mutual respect and cooperation specifically between the people of China and the Southwest region by promoting the study of China's language, history and culture

China are celebrating a new partnership for
the Confucius Institute at UT Dallas with
performances and demonstrations of folk art
from several grandmasters from the Jiangsu
Province of China:
• Chinese folk dance
• Guqin (ancient Chinese zither)
• Yangzhou Rod Puppet Show
• Huishan Terra Doll figurinekneading
• Paper-cutting
