Activity plan for the Chinese Culture Week of 2010
November 5-11, 2010
All events are free and open to the public
Day 1 (Nov. 5, Friday) : Art exhibition of "China Through an American Child's Eye" exhibited in the Jonsson Performance Hall lobby.
Day 2 (Nov. 6, Saturday) : Chinese movie evening. The Chinese movie "Confucius" is shown in the Jonsson Performance Hall.
Day 3 (Nov. 7, Sunday) : No activity
Day 4 (Nov. 8, Monday) : Yan Jing's Chinese painting and calligraphy show in the Conference Center lobby. The painter talks and does a calligraphy demonstration.
Day 5 (Nov. 9, Tuesday) : Yan Jing's Chinese painting and calligraphy show in the Conference Center lobby. The painter talks and does a calligraphy demonstration.
Day 6 (Nov. 10, Wednesday) : Dr. Xiang Bing lectures about "Globalization of the Chinese Economy" in Jonsson Performance Hall. Reception from 6:30 to 7:30 pm in the lobby.
Day 7(Nov. 11, Thursday) : Committee members visit the art exhibition of "China Through an American Child's Eye" and decide winners of the exhibition.
