UT Dallas University Choir

The UT Dallas University Choir (MUSI 2127, 1 credit hour) is a new musical organization that performs in the Fall and Spring.

You don't need a musical background to join us, just a love of singing (be it in the shower, church, car or only where no one can hear you).

All are welcome: students, alums, faculty, significant others, spouses, older children, parents, neighbors, friends – anyone.

The familiar? ... Made fresh.
The new? ... An adventurous surprise.
A motto? ... Serious explorations of great music from Baroque to Broadway.
The attitude? ... Interesting, Informative, Relaxed, and Enjoyable.

Our debut appearance will feature a stunning choral work by the Swedish composer, Lars Eric Larsson, about the year Apollo spent as a human: The Disguised God.

Spring will be a surprise: a new choral soundtrack for a 1902 science fiction silent movie, performed live while the film is screened.

And that musical knowledge mentioned above? One day, you will be pleased to realize how much you absorbed without even noticing.
