Description of Course:
Piano II is an individualized course of instruction in piano technique, interpretation and literature. Intended for students who have prior training in piano, the emphasis of this class is in repertoire building. Students meet as a class and individually with the instructor to work on a variety of literature, including selections from each period. This semester will include playing the music of composers from Latin America.
This class can be repeated 3 times (9 hrs.) for credit.
Materials to be selected after the first class meeting.
