Course Title:
The Guitar: Medieval to Modern

DESCRIPTION OF COURSE:

This class presents a musical survey of music for the guitar in its various historic forms and allied instruments such as the lute, mandolin, and vihuela.

While the course is valuable to musicians and players of the guitar, musical training is not a requirement to take this course.

This course is open to all students in good standing from all schools at UT Dallas.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS/EVALUATION CRITERIA:

Several exams and two concert summaries are required of each partipant.
