Course Title:
Silkscreen Printmaking

DESCRIPTION OF COURSE:

The majority of the course will focus on the actual creation of several silkscreen prints, addressing issues of process, technique and image development. Students can take advantage of UTD’s print studio facilities beginning with color field printing and then working into color process printing and computer generated image transfers. The use of silkscreen as an art medium incorporated into other traditional mediums will be encouraged as a way to develop the potential application of one's imagery and effects.Students who have taken this class may work on their own self-directive projects.
