Course Title:
U.S. History Survey from Civil War

DESCRIPTION OF COURSE:

History 1302 is the second half of a two semester introduction to U.S. history and surveys U.S. history from the Civil War to the present. This course will emphasize the rise of modern industrial America, varied responses to industrialization, patterns of immigration, the emergence of the U.S. as a world power, the impact of the Cold War, and the struggle over resources and power in twentieth-century America.
