DESCRIPTION OF COURSE:

This course is designed to teach students the technically correct aspects of script writing, shooting and editing videos as well as learning story telling techniques. Students will learn about different script formats, organizing a video shoot, production and storytelling techniques, HD cameras, composing shots, lighting, audio and organizing the video clips for an efficient editing process. The course will consist of lectures, demonstrations, assignments, exams, projects, presentations, and critiques.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS/EVALUATION CRITERIA:

Basic knowledge of video cameras and Final Cut Pro or other editing software is required.
