Course Title
Native American History in the Nineteenth Century

Description of Course:

Examines the interaction of Native Americans and "whites" during the nineteenth century, primarily in the region west of the Appalachians to the Pacific. Will focus on the cultures of the desert Southwest in the Spanish colonial period. Prerequisite: HIST 1301, HIST 1302, HIST 2301, HIST 2330, HIST 2331, or equivalent.
