Course Title:
The Art and Craft of Translation

DESCRIPTION OF COURSE:

This seminar/workshop will focus on both the practice and theoretical implications of literary translation. By studying the work of other translators and producing translations of their own, students will explore the practical challenges of literary translation. Students will also study and interrogate important theoretical approaches to translation.
