Course Title:
Guitar Ensemble III

DESCRIPTION OF COURSE:

Guitar Ensemble III builds upon the guitar skills learned in Guitar Ensemble II and Guitar I classes. Students who have successfully taken those courses are welcome in Guitar III. Parts will be assigned according to skill level.

Repertory studies includes classical and folk-lore-derived music for duo, trio, and quartet with multiple players per part.

Opportunities to perform include: master classes, mall concerts at the Student Union, and Spring Festival in Jonsson Performance Hall.
The class can be repeated for credit.

Students are encouraged to use nylon string guitars. A limited supply of UTD Guitars are available for semester-long loan to take this class.
