This course is a hands-on workshop incorporating found and made objects, and the conceptual ideas shaping sculpture today. We will "think with our hands" as well as use hand drawn methods and digital tool strategies to realize a personal investigation from concept through development. The history of the object and the practice of contemporary sculptors working today will shape the research, studio and lecture material of the class.

This course is structured to accommodate various levels of AP, ATEC and non AP students.
