Ballet I

DESCRIPTION OF COURSE:

Ballet I is for the student with little to no experience in ballet technique. The course will start with basic principles of technique and alignment and will progress to an understanding of basic barre and center exercises and basic ballet vocabulary.

Recommended: Ballet Basics by Sandra Noll Hammond

COURSE REQUIREMENTS/EVALUATION CRITERIA:

Ballet slippers(shoes), black leotard and pink tights for women. Ballet slippers (shoes), black tights, dance belt, and white or black tee shirt (or leotard) for men.
