Iberian Culture and Music

Description of Course:

An interdisciplinary study of the music of Spain, Portugal and their cultural and musical off-springs in the Americas. Music includes: folklore, flamenco, classical traditions and dance, and zarzuela, a kind of Spanish musical theater.

This course is open to all qualified UT Dallas graduate students. No musical experience is prerequisite for this course.
