Story-Telling for New Media

Description of Course:

Discover what narrative is and how it functions in modern media. Aristotle's *Poetics* laid out the basics of dramatic narrative, which are still employed in modern film and television. Learn how to apply these principles by writing your own dramatic short scripts and analyzing the work of others. Explore the relationship between plot and interactivity, and then apply what you’ve learned to a final interactive project.
