Musi in Western Civilization

Description of Course:

A broad review of Western music from the Middle Ages to the twenty-first century, with emphasis on the Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Modern styles. Develops listening skills and an understanding of diverse genres and places works in their social and cultural contexts.
