Artist and curator Nathan Green, artist and UTD Professor John Pomara, and artist and educator Kim Camdus Owens will discuss issues surrounding CentralTrak's current exhibition 'Failing Flat: Sculptural Tendencies in Painting,' a group exhibition of paintings that exist in a dual state of objecthood and the pictorial, featuring the work of Ivin Ballen, T.J. Centraltrak, the University of Texas at Dallas Artists Residency Program, is an academic arts program offered by the School of the Arts and Humanities, bringing cutting-edge artists from across the globe to the only university-backed artists' residency in Texas. The Residency serves as a community center for broad intellectual discourse around the arts. Artists' studios, exhibitions, and symposia are made possible in part through the support of our Friends. We encourage you to support our organization and participate in the rich cultural offerings we host at Centraltrak.
