A series of lectures will be given by Dr. Jan Gross, the Norman B. Tomlinson ‘16 and ‘48 Professor of War and Society and Professor of History at Princeton University. Dr. Gross is a Polish-American historian and sociologist studying comparative politics, totalitarian and authoritarian regimes, and the Holocaust. Dr. Gross gained public attention on the occasion of his controversial publications such as Neighbors: The Destruction of the Jewish Community in Jedwabne, Poland (2001), Fear - Anti-Semitism in Poland after Auschwitz (2006) and most recently Golden Harvest (2011).
