Will the sun rise again? It’s looking unlikely, but no worries: our crack news team is on the story. A charming display of witty satire in the face of Armageddon, the play takes the form of a local TV newscast covering nightfall. This 75-minute play serves as a poke in the eye to media in an age of geopolitical uncertainty, pending disaster and a preoccupation with ratings. What begins as a parody of the news media’s vapid patter eventually breaks down into a philosophic exploration of the endurance of humanity during catastrophes.

Performances to be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Thursday nights are free for everyone
