The Government Inspector by Nikolai Gogol

Thursday, April 5, 2018 – Saturday, April 7, 2018, 8:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Venue: University Theatre
Admission: $15
Season: 2017-18

The Government Inspector is a bitingly satirical play for our political moment. In a smug and self-content provincial town, it is rumored that a government official will be arriving in disguise to expose local political and business corruption. Alternative facts are the norm, as the play reveals how small-minded people are willing to work against their better interest to be deceived and exploited regardless of the obvious truths surrounding them.
