Singer-songwriter Martha Redbone’s music flows equally from her own unique, award-winning blend of Native American elements and her deep roots in Appalachian folk and Piedmont blues.

Presented as a dramatic musical work with a cast of eight actor/musicians, BONE HILL: THE CONCERT, is inspired by Martha Redbone’s family history in the Appalachian Mountains. This is an epic story of one woman’s return to her homeland on Black Mountain and the coalmines of Harlan County, KY.  Presented in partnership with UT Dallas School of Arts & Humanities, whose Vocal Ensemble will open the show, after a 4-day residency on campus. An Eisemann Center Presents MainStage Show.
