Arts and Technology in the DFW Area
Texas and the Dallas-Austin corridor have been called the "third coast," considered a technological nexus for animation, gaming and digital media. Arts and Technology students have multiple opportunities to meet and learn from industry veterans in the North Texas area, many of whom have taught courses, given guest lectures, donated equipment and software or offered internships to ATEC students. Our graduates are recruited locally and nationally, and our alumni have found homes at numerous high-profile companies and studios, including Dreamworks Animation, Reel-FX, Id Software and Gearbox Software.
