Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

United States Department of Justice Investigation of Recent Allegations Regarding the Assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

A study of King's "Letter from Birmingham Jail" always brings up the question of whether a conspiracy was behind his murder. This government website addresses that question. The conclusion: there was no conspiracy to murder King. Of special note could be the examination of rhetoric used by Loyd Jowers. Do you think, like government investigators, that he "contrived and promoted a sensational story of a plot to kill Dr. King"?
