Counseling Center

The UTD Student Counseling Center provides programs and services designed to assist students in achieving emotional well-being necessary to success. Help is given to students to manage academic and personal demands more effectively. The Counseling Center's open-minded and understanding professional staff of licensed psychologists/counselors is available by appointment or in times of emergency. All counseling is confidential.

 

Learning Resource Center

The Learning Resource Center offers assistance to students in the areas of reading, writing, mathematics, and study skills. These services are available through individual appointments, group workshops, short courses, and audio and videotapes. The Writing Lab offers one-to-one assistance with writing assignments and general writing skills. Appointments are required. The Math Lab gives short-term and semester-long support for a variety of mathematics courses. Students may drop in or visit these labs on a regular basis.

Rhetoric Resources in the Library

The purpose of this site is to serve as a guide to the resources available for teaching how to use the library in the Rhetoric 1302 classes at UT Dallas. It includes a directory of contact information, a listing of hours of operation, links to maps of the library, a synopsis of what the library owns, information on crucial topics taught in library classes, and more. Use this site as a primer to prepare yourself before bringing a class into the library, or use it as a review of library resources long after you have brought your class to us. You are encouraged to explore this useful site and contact librarians with any questions or concerns you may have.
