Robert Plant Armstrong Endowed Fellowship Fund

The Robert Plant Armstrong Endowed Fellowship Fund permits the School of Arts and Humanities at UT Dallas to award a few modest fellowships to graduate students each academic year. In contrast to Teaching Assistantships, which involve part-time work for the school and are based solely on students' academic record, these awards are based on financial need as well as academic merit. Thus, applicants must provide the fellowship committee information on their incomes as well as estimated expenses.

The School requires Armstrong fellows to enroll full time. Students awarded a Teaching Assistantship in 2017-18 are not eligible to receive the Robert Plant Armstrong Endowed Fellowship Fund. If a student is awarded the Robert Plant Armstrong Endowed Fellowship Fund but withdraws from classes, the amount of the award must be paid back to the University.

The Robert Plant Armstrong Endowed Fellowship Fund application form for academic year 2017-2018 must be filled out and submitted via email to [email protected] or in hard copy to the Arts and Humanities Office (JO 4.510). The application must be received by MARCH 10, 2017. Awards of the Robert Plant Armstrong Endowed Fellowship Fund will be announced in late April.
