Air America Helicopter

A symposium co-sponsored by The University of Texas at Dallas, McDermott Library, and the Central Intelligence Agency will acknowledge and commemorate Air America rescue activity during the Vietnam War.

The CIA will release some 10,000 pages of declassified material to the library's Special Collections, official home of the Civil Air Transport/Air America Archives and Memorial.

The program will include Air America employees who participated in rescues in Laos and South Vietnam as well as some of the men who were rescued.
