Bio: G. J. Racz is associate professor of Foreign Languages and Literature at Long Island University--Brooklyn, vice-president of ALTA, and review editor for Translation Review. Primarily a poetry translator with a special interest in meter and rhyme, Racz has published works by Spanish Golden Age dramatists Pedro Calderon de la Barca and Lope de Vega, as well as by the contemporary Spanish playwright Jaime Salom. He continues to translate the contemporary Peruvian poet Eduardo Chirinos.
