Gary Chambers (B.A. '81) was recently appointed head of the Animal Services Department in Baytown, Texas. He began his career working for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
Dr. Sandra Bond Chapman (Ph.D. '86) was recently honored by Northwood University with a Northwood University Distinguished Women's Award at a gala event at Dallas' Ritz-Carlton on November 17, 2007. Dr. Chapman is the founder and director of The University of Texas at Dallas Center for BrainHealth® and a 2004 recipient of the UT Dallas Alumni Achievement Award.
Clovia English (M.P.A. '94) has served as the city manager of Corinth, Texas, since October 2006. Prior to her position in Corinth, she became the first black woman city manager in Texas when she was hired as the city manager of Lockhart, Texas, a position she enjoyed for seven years before coming to work for Corinth.
Tahir Hussain (B.S.E.E. '94) is the founder of Fusion Solutions, Inc., based in Addison, Texas. The company, founded in 2002, is one of the largest certified minority-owned telecom consulting and staffing providers in Texas, and is also one of the fastest-growing private companies in America, according to Inc. magazine.
Taylor Hayden (B.A. '00)
invites you to the screening of his latest film, "Hostage To Evil,"at Studio Movie Grill in Addison on Thursday, December 6 at 7:15 p.m. The movie, which Taylor classifies as a drama/horror/dark comedy, runs 1 hour and 45 minutes and is rated PG-13. Tickets for the screening are $8 (cash only).
