The opening reception for the "Isn't Anything" art exhibition will be held in the UT Dallas Visual Arts Building. "Isn't Anything" artists includes: Greg Kachikis, Nathaniel Glaspie, Brent Ozaeta, Elizabeth Jacome, Ellen Ellzey, Lauren Gray, Shyma El Sayed, Katy Thompson, Lori Smith, Katie Sebastian, and Matthew Lorber. Their work will be on display from June 8th to June 30th.

John J. Nance, a preeminent aviation analyst for network television, will deliver the 2007 George W. Jalonick III and Mary Cockrell Jalonick Memorial Distinguished Lecture. Nance's lecture, titled "The Teamwork Revolution: The Amazing Role of Aviation in Changing the Modern World," will take place at 4 p.m. in the university's McDermott Library Auditorium (MC 2.410). The event is free and open to the public. A reception will follow the presentation in the Special Collections Department on the third floor of the library.
