| Sports Report |
 Five of the seven sports programs finished with at least a .500 win-loss record
in the 2006-2007 year. These teams included Volleyball, Women's Soccer,
Men's Soccer, Men's Basketball and Baseball. All five teams qualified for the
post-season American Southwest Conference (ASC) Championship
Tournaments in their sport along with Women's Basketball. This year also
marked the first time the Women's Basketball team made it to the
Championship. Volleyball and Women's Soccer each advanced to the
championship game in their respective tournaments. The UTD men's tennis
team finished with an overall 9-6 record despite a schedule that included
several upper-division programs. Men's and Women's Cross Country and
golf teams competed in the ASC Championship Meet or Tournament for
their sport.
