The spring Loyalty Fund is underway, following a successful fall semester, in which alumni participation almost doubled. The goal for this 06-07 year is to end with 1,380 donors. We currently have 561. Between now and August 31, UTD needs 819 alumni to send in a contribution. You can support any program, school, or scholarship of your choice, so think about what means the most to you when you make your gift.

During the fall phone-a-thon our staff and students had great conversations with so many alumni. In particular, Bob Hewlett, '82, of Dallas stands out because of his enthusiasm for UTD and the opportunity to support his Alma Mater.

Bob and his wife Gloria have supported UTD for the last 17 years. When asked why he feels it's so important to give back, Bob said, "I usually request that my donations are made to the School of Management. If one thinks about it, good management is the key to success for all disciplines. Keeping that in mind, when making donations, make The University of Texas at Dallas one of your priorities."
