Dan Kelly (B.A. '78) is a realtor with Keller Williams Realty. He's located in the Woodlands and wants to let all UT Dallas alumni know that he "works overtime for UT Dallas alums, family and friends."
Bernie Francis (B.S. '83), was named to Governor Rick Perry's Task Force on Higher Education Incentive Funding in January. He is owner and CEO of Business Control Systems, LP, and also serves on the Executive Committee of the Governor's Business Council. The task force will make recommendations to the governor, lieutenant governor and speaker regarding guidelines for implementing higher education incentive funding programs.
Joe R. Eulberg (Ph.D. '87) was appointed senior vice president of human resources in March at Bob Evans Farms, which owns and operates full-service restaurants under the Bob Evans and Mimi's Cafe brand names. Prior to working at Bob Evans Farms, he served as executive vice president of human resources at Acosta Sales and Marketing, a Florida-based food sales and marketing company.
Craig Burnett (M.S. '89) was named vice president of Acacia Research Corporation in January. The company acquires, develops and licenses patented technologies. Prior to joining Acacia, he worked for the patent licensing company Discovision Associates, which is wholly owned by Pioneer Corporation.
Ginger Williams (B.A. '96) was named Murphy Middle School Teacher of the Year. She has taught eighth grade history for 12 years in the Plano, Texas, and Murphy, Texas, school districts.
Michael Danforth (B.A. '98) joined the Texas law firm Winstead PC as an associate. He is an employee benefits attorney and will be working with the Taxation, Employee Benefits and Private Business Practice Group in the Business and Transactions department. Prior to joining Winstead he worked at Haynes and Boone, LLP.
Jeff Wolfe (B.S. '99) recently joined the Sandy Wolfe team with Keller Williams Realty Central. His focus will be on residential and commercial real estate and marketing the 2008 business plan.
Raju Uppalapati (M.A. '00) was appointed to the North Carolina Advisory Board of Commonwealth Bankshares, Inc. He is the chairman and CEO of RAVA Group and the CEO and partner of BD&A Realty and Construction, Inc.
