Joe Snow (B.S. '82) is the new vice president of managed care sales for HealthTrans, a national pharmacy benefits administrator. He has more than 20 years of experience working on software solutions and services for the healthcare and financial services industries.
David P. Kelly (M.S. '86) was announced as the new chief executive officer and president of Bluefin Robotics on January 14. The company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Battelle Memorial Institute, produces Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs), systems, and technology. Prior to his new position at Bluefin, he was vice president of information technology solutions at Battelle.

authored the chapter on employment law in SMU Law Review's 2007 Annual Survey of Texas Law. He is a labor and employment law partner at Thompson & Knight, and his practice focuses on labor and employment law, school law, civil rights matters, and civil appellate law.
Jenese Holland (B.S. '03) was recently named Associate Administrator at TriStar Health System's StoneCrest Medical Center. She holds a master's degree in healthcare administration and was recently accepted in HCA'scorporate development program, designed to develop future Chief Operating Officers.
Christine Pan Beisert (B.S. '01) and Donald Beisert, Jr. (B.S. '04) were married on September 2, 2007, at the Tribute Golf Club, in a gazebo overlooking Lake Lewisville in The Colony, Texas. Following the wedding, the couple traveled to French Polynesia, Bora Bora, and they now reside in Dallas.
Neil Basu (M.S. '06) was part of a research team that discovered the West Rota Volcano in the western Pacific Ocean near the Mariana Islands during research excursions conducted from 2001 to 2005. The research team, which also included UT Dallas geoscientist Dr. Robert Stern and other American and Japanese scientists, discovered the extinct underwater volcano more than 300 meters below the surface of the ocean. Their research was recently published in The Island Arc, a scientific journal.
Penny Lazo (B.S. '06) was appointed national director of sales for
Music World Entertainment. Prior to her position at Music World Entertainment, she served as the national director of sales and marketing at Big Machine Records. |
