In conjunction with the UT Dallas Homecoming Week 2009, Alumni Relations would like to invite you and your family to a night with the Dallas Mavericks. The Dallas Mavs will play the Portland Trail Blazers on February 4, 2009 at 7:30 PM in the AAC. Tickets are available for $15 apiece (regular price of $19). The annual homecoming parade will wind through the UT Dallas campus beginning at 12 p.m. Student organizations will decorate floats and perform skits for spectators and judges.

Annual Casino Night and Dance

This Expo offers internships and co-ops, full-time and part-time employment opportunities, as well as general career information from all industry sectors.

Professional Business Attire Required (for example: no flip-flops, athletic shoes, denim jeans, shorts, etc.) Entrance to the Career Expo will be monitored by the Career Center staff.

Teacher Career Expo

The event is primarily designed for students involved in the Teacher Certification Program at UT Dallas; however, it is also open to all UT Dallas students and alumni interested in pursuing careers in education.

School of Management Scholarship Breakfast

Gary Kelly, Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of Southwest Airlines will be the guest of The University of Texas at Dallas School of Management for a moderated discussion regarding the challenges of rendering superior customer service in today’s economy. Dan Sanders, CEO of United Supermarkets, the award-winning parent company of Market Street, will serve as facilitator for the discussion. The breakfast event is scheduled for April 8.
The School of Management is focused on expanding its ability to provide scholarships to its brightest and most deserving students. With support from alumni, friends and the North Texas business community, we envision the annual scholarship breakfast to be a key in accomplishing this goal.
