  Tickets are $15 each
  In conjunction with the UT Dallas Homecoming Week 2009, Alumni Relations would like to invite you and your family to a night with the Dallas Mavericks. The Dallas Mavs will play the Portland Trail Blazers on February 4, 2009 at 7:30 PM in the AAC. Tickets are available for $15 apiece (regular price of $19).   Starts at 12PM
  The annual homecoming parade will wind through the UT Dallas campus beginning at 12 p.m. Student organizations will decorate floats and perform skits for spectators and judges.

  Women play at 1 p.m. Men play at 3 p.m.
  
  Annual Casino Night and Dance
  This event is the heart of homecoming. The Student Union will be transformed for this semi-formal dance and casino night. Tickets are free for current students and $20 for alumni. Register Now!

Center for Children and Families Lecture Series:
Helping Children to Succeed

UT Dallas Spring 2009 Career Expo
March 5, 2009 from 11 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Activity Center, UT Dallas
This Expo offers internships and co-ops, full-time and part-time employment opportunities, as well as general career information from all industry sectors.

Professional Business Attire Required (for example: no flip-flops, athletic shoes, denim jeans, shorts, etc.) Entrance to the Career Expo will be monitored by the Career Center staff.

ID Required. UT Dallas Comet Card for currently enrolled students. For UT Dallas Alumni bring your UT Dallas Comet Card or Alumni ID. (This Expo is not open to the public.)

Teacher Career Expo
March 11, 2009 from 1-3 p.m.
Student Union Galaxy Rooms, UT Dallas
An opportunity to meet and possibly interview with representatives from K-12 schools in the DFW area and around the state. The event is primarily designed for students involved in the Teacher Certification Program at UT Dallas; however, it is also open to all UT Dallas students and alumni interested in pursuing careers in education.

Public Agency Career Expo

This event offers UT Dallas students and alumni an opportunity to interact with employers from municipalities, non-profit organizations, as well as city, state, and federal government offices about possible internships, full-time and part-time positions, as well as volunteer opportunities.

The 2009 Alumni Gala: A Celebration of UT Dallas
March 28, 2009 at 7 p.m.

Please join President Daniel in a special celebration of UT Dallas. This annual awards dinner is the signature alumni event of the year and honors the 2009 Alumni Awards recipients. Register Now!

School of Management Scholarship Breakfast
April 8, 2009 from 7:30-9 a.m.
The Westin Galleria
Gary Kelly, Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of Southwest Airlines will be the guest of The University of Texas at Dallas School of Management for a moderated discussion regarding the challenges of rendering superior customer service in today’s economy. Dan Sanders, CEO of United Supermarkets, the award-winning parent company of Market Street, will serve as facilitator for the discussion. The breakfast event is scheduled for April 8.

The School of Management is focused on expanding its ability to provide scholarships to its brightest and most deserving students. With support from alumni, friends and the North Texas business community, we envision the annual scholarship breakfast to be a key in accomplishing this goal.
