More than 200 alumni, guests and friends of the university enjoyed the annual Jazz at the DMA UT Dallas alumni reception on Thursday, May 21 at the Dallas Museum of Art's Seventeen Seventeen Restaurant.
Jazz music was provided by the Chris DeRose Trio in the main room while music from the Museum's Jazz Under the Stars artists floated up from the lawn just outside the restaurant's patio.
This is the third year that the UT Dallas Office of Development and Alumni Relations has hosted this event which continues to grow as a great opportunity for UT Dallas alumni to network and reconnect with each other, as well as to hear updates about the university.
Dr. Aaron Conley, Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations, shared some of the newest developments at the university, including updates for the campus enhancement plan. Architechtural renderings of some of the campus' new buildings and landscape enhancements were displayed around the room.
Many thanks go to the Dallas Museum of Art, which donated a one-year membership to the museum as a door prize.
