March 25, 2009 from 7:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Jonsson Performance Hall, UT Dallas Campus
Over the past three decades, we have witnessed the exponential rise of China. The G7 has become the G20, and China has become a force to be reckoned with both economically and politically. But culturally, China still remains a mystery to most of the world outside. We are living in an historical moment in which the old world order--economically, politically, and culturally--is being reconfigured. How will Chinese culture change world culture? What does this antique civilization called China have to offer philosophically in this moment of crisis?

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, visit the
