If you haven’t popped open your mailbox to find the new UT Dallas Magazine, you will soon. Now it’s easy to reconnect with the University through this twice-yearly publication that explores and highlights the innovation, arts, alumni and issues that captivate our campus and region.

Turn a page and take an in-depth look at the behind-the-scenes story of our race with seven universities to become Texas’ next research powerhouse. Learn about Eugene McDermott Scholar Hannah Frank’s BA’08 Peace Corps mission in Ghana. And discover how our faculty and students are using powerful game technology as an interactive tool for human development. From the 186 new faculty we’ve added in the last five years to the men’s basketball team’s journey to the Sweet 16, there are many reasons to connect with the University.

“Great universities invest a lot of time and effort on staying in touch with their alumni and communities around them,” said Dr. Aaron Conley, vice president of development and alumni relations at UT Dallas. “The UT Dallas Magazine is our newest way to keep our alumni and friends better informed about
UT Dallas and the momentum they are helping us build toward becoming a top national research university.”

The magazine was mailed to more than 72,000
UT Dallas alumni, advisory board members, faculty, staff, friends and neighbors.
