As part of an event series designed to bring the UT Dallas community together, President David E. Daniel recently welcomed more than 60 alumni, parents and friends to the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, Calif. Along with networking, attendees heard from guest speaker Dr. Ahmad Bahai, Texas Instruments' Analog Chief Technology Officer, who spoke about the evolution of innovation. TI co-sponsored the event with the University.
The San Francisco group gives its best Whoosh. Invented in the early 1990s, the Whoosh is a symbolic gesture of unity for UT Dallas students and alumni.
