Ahmed Family Bangladesh Scholarship

The Ahmed Family Bangladesh Scholarship is for either undergraduate or graduate students with a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA. Applicants must demonstrate financial need by completing a financial statement or FAFSA. Among equally qualified applicants, a preference may be given to applicants who have lived in, matriculated from, a dependent of individual(s) from Bangladesh or have some other connection to Bangladesh through their family or work. A minimum award of $1,000 per year may be given.

Anselme Thierry Bony Scholarship

The Anselme Thierry Bony Scholarship is for either undergraduate or graduate students with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and at least two semesters remaining prior to graduation. Applicants must demonstrate financial need by completing a financial statement or FAFSA. Among equally qualified applicants, a preference may be given to applicants who received all or part of his/her preparatory education in the Côte d’Ivoire, a dependent of individual(s) from the Côte d’Ivoire, have some other connection to Côte d’Ivoire through their family or work, or have a demonstrated interest and knowledge of the Ivorian culture. A minimum award of $1,000 per year may be given.

Bangladeshi Student Organization Alumni Scholarship

The Bangladeshi Student Organization Alumni Scholarship is for either undergraduate or graduate students with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and at least two semesters remaining prior to graduation. Applicants must demonstrate financial need by completing a financial statement or FAFSA. Among equally qualified applicants, a preference may be given to applicants who have received all or part of his/her preparatory education in Bangladesh or have some other connection to Bangladesh through their family or work. The recipient is encouraged to volunteer with the Bangladeshi Student Organization. A minimum award of $1,000 per year may be given.

Daffodil Scholarship Bangladesh

The Daffodil Scholarship Bangladesh is for either undergraduate or graduate students with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and at least two semesters remaining prior to graduation. Applicants must demonstrate financial need by completing a financial statement or FAFSA. Among equally qualified applicants, a preference may be given to applicants who have received all or part of his/her preparatory education in Bangladesh or have some other connection to Bangladesh through their family or work. A minimum award of $1,000 per year may be given.

Khaleque Family Scholarship

The Khaleque Family Scholarship is for either undergraduate or graduate students with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and at least two semesters remaining prior to graduation. Applicants must demonstrate financial need by completing a financial statement or FAFSA. Among equally qualified applicants, a preference may be given to applicants who have received all or part of his/her preparatory education in Bangladesh or have some other connection to Bangladesh through their family or work. A minimum award of $1,000 per year may be given.

Mahatma Gandhi Memorial of North Texas Scholarship

The Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship is for either undergraduate or graduate students with a minimum 3.3 cumulative GPA. Applicants must demonstrate financial need by completing a financial statement or FAFSA. Among equally qualified applicants, a preference may be given to applicants who have lived in, matriculated from, a dependent of individual(s) from India or have some other connection to India through their family or work. A minimum award of $1,000 per year may be given.

Indian Alumni Network Scholarship

The Indian Alumni Network Scholarship is for new graduate students with a minimum 3.3 cumulative GPA and with at least two semesters remaining prior to graduation. Among equally qualified applicants, a preference may be given to applicants who have received all of his/her undergraduate education in India or have some other connection to India through their family or work. The recipient is encouraged to volunteer with the Indian Student Association. A minimum award of $1,000 per year may be given and cannot be combined with any other forms of financial aid.

NASIM Foundation Scholarship

The NASIM (North American Society of Indian Muslims) Foundation Scholarship is open to undergraduate or graduate students with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Applicants must demonstrate financial need by completing a financial statement or FAFSA. Among equally qualified applicants, a preference may be given to applicants who have completed all or part of their secondary education in India or applicants who are active in the Muslim Students Association. A minimum award of $1,000 per year may be given.

Society of Iranian-American Women for Education

The Society of Iranian-American Women for Education (SIAWE) Scholarship is for undergraduate students with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and graduate students with a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA. Applicants must demonstrate financial need by completing a financial statement or FAFSA. Among equally qualified applicants, a preference may be given to applicants who have lived in, matriculated from, or have been a dependent of individual(s) from Iran or have some other connection to Iran through their family or work. The recipient is encouraged to volunteer with the Iranian Student Organization. A minimum award of $1,000 per year may be given

Turkish Student Organization Scholarship

The Turkish Student Organization Scholarship is open to undergraduate or graduate students in any degree program. Among equally qualified applicants, a preference may be given to applicants who have a working knowledge of the Turkish language and who have received all or part of his/her preparatory education in the country of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kirghizstan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Bosnia, Albania, or Georgia or have some other connection to any one of these countries through their family or work. A minimum award of $1,000 per year may be given.

Please note these are approximate dates; we are not able to provide exact dates as they depend on the volume of applications received. Applications must be submitted by the deadline indicated on the application form. Late applications will not be considered.

Awards cannot be combined with any other form of Financial Aid.
