Adam Chandler is a Senior Lecturer in the Arts & Technology program (ATEC) at the University of Texas at Dallas. His professional experience and teaching interests include 3D modeling, Level Design, Motion Graphics and Scripting.
Adam has worked several years in a variety of positions in the field. In Architectural Visualization, he joined RealPage to create 3D renders and fly-through animations that turned apartment floorplans into life-like digital models. At one of the world’s largest audio/visual companies, PSAV, he worked to create photo-real visualizations of multi-million dollar live events and shows. He has also served in Art and Audio Director roles for major PSAV shows and projects. He was also a member of the PSAV Interactive Team, responsible for researching and implementing interactive systems for Live Events. He has experience designing mobile applications, 3D walkthroughs using Unity Game Engine, and Augmented Reality systems.
In the game industry, he worked for several prominent game companies, including Junction Point and Gearbox. He was an Environment artist on Epic Mickey 2, responsible for owning and increasing the fidelity of several levels in the final game. At Gearbox, he channeled his interest in music and sound design as an Audio Intern and worked on several titles, including Borderlands 2 expansions and Aliens Colonial Marines. He continues to work on small, independent game projects.
