Song of the Immortal

With tablets growing in popularity, it is a unique opportunity to produce new media and take advantage of the interactivity provided in this new medium. Song aims to provide a unique twist with rhythm games and present the game in an engaging and accessible format. The game will seek to take advantage of new technology and offer novel ways of fun.

As such, tablets can be an innovative means of delivering game content because of their highly accessible nature. Instead of dealing with controllers or external peripherals in order to engage oneself in a game, the player is able to replicate universally understood actions with touch screen tablets.

The game play of Song of the Immortal relies on the core game play mechanic of drumming, which is simplistic in design and intuitive, allowing people to enter the game quickly and respond without much instruction.

Because of this, Song of the Immortal aims to become an accessible game in which people can quickly pick up and intuitively comprehend, allowing for a satisfying experience that can appeal to a large demographic.
