This Arts and Technology STEAM Summer Camp will introduce students to game design and virtual environment concepts and give them a glimpse into various industries. Students will produce a computer game, movie, a virtual world or a digital photography piece.
Open to students grades 9-12. The camp will meet June 10-14 and 17-21, 2013. Participants receive a t-shirt and copy of all the games created at the summer camp.

Dr. Adam Brackin
Dr. Adam Brackin is a Research Assistant Professor of Game Design at UT Dallas. He teaches various forms of storytelling for new and interactive media, from traditional video games to alternate reality games (ARGs). Brackin is the writer/creator of various non-commercial ARGs. He is a Texas-certified English and art teacher. Brackin received his Master in Education in Gifted Education from Hardin-Simmons University, where he taught in the Threshold program for advanced and gifted children from 2000-2004.
