As a student at UTD, she was very active in Orientation and New Student Programs, Fraternity and Sorority Life, and other organizations. While pursuing her master’s degree, she was fortunate to gain experience in Student Activities at UNT, the Center for Student Rights and Responsibilities as a conduct intern, and complete an internship in Family Orientation at Suffolk University in Boston, MA.

Upon completing her degree, she worked as an Admissions Counselor at Texas Woman’s University where she supervised multiple student organizations. She returned home to UT Dallas in the Fall of 2012 to advise students in the School of ATEC and share her experiences in the program. In May 2015, she was awarded the 2014-2015 Undergraduate Advisor of the Year. She has presented at various advising conferences and serves as the Treasurer for the Texas Academic Advising Network (TEXAAN). When she isn’t busy doing advisor things, you can find her hanging out with her son or watching Rick and Morty.
